Some village clubs and activities have been cancelled or postponed due to the Covid 19 Outbreak. Check details with the Organiser.

Pilates
Every Monday evening at 8pm in Temple Sowerby Victory Hall during school term time only.

Culgaith Walk and Talk
Weekly Thursday at 1pm. See walk list for starting point.

Coffee Morning (1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month)
Held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10am until 12pm in the Victory Hall. A chance to catch up with friends and neighbours as well as meet new people. Tea and cake too. All welcome.
The post office van arrives outside the Hall at midday.

Gardening Club
Are you interested in growing Flowers, Vegetables or Fruit, Flower Arranging, keeping the perfect Lawn or admiring other gardens and looking for inspiration for your own?Meetings monthly except December and January.

Knit & Stitch
Knitters and stitchers meet the first Thursday of the month at 9.30am in the Temple Sowerby Victory Hall.

Wine Social Evening
Wine Social Evening is held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm in the Temple Sowerby Victory Hall from October through to May.

Reading Group
The group meets on the fourth Monday of every month in the King’s Arms Hotel at 7.30pm.

Lunch Club
Ladies Lunch Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month at House at Temple Sowerby at 12.30pm. There is a summer break, so no meetings in August or September.

Newbiggin Ladies
Meetings are the first Thursday of the month except January and August, in the Newbiggin Reading Room. A speaker on a subject of interest or an event is arranged by members of the group.

Parish Council
Meetings are held every 2 months in the Victory Hall at 7pm.

Bowling Club
The outdoor bowling season starts mid April each year and finishes mid September.

Cricket Club
There are regular training sessions and matches, home and away during the cricket season.

Flower Show
A traditional summer show with over 100 different classes, including flowers, vegetables, baking, preserves, photography, handicrafts and a children’s section. It is held in Victory Hall and St. James Church on the first Saturday in August.
