Temple Sowerby Cricket Club:

Temple Sowerby Cricket Club & Pavilion is situated at the western edge of the village and is set high above the River Eden, with stunning views of the Eastern Lake District Fells and the North Pennines. Cricket has been played in the village since the 1890s and the Club has been at its current site since about 1930.

There are two Senior teams, playing in the Eden Valley Cricket League. Our First team play in the Premier Division (and we were proud to win the Premiership in 2014). The Second team play in Division 2.

We also have a popular Junior section, offering coaching for children aged between 5 and 16 on a Monday evening during the season. See our website for more details.

The Club organises successful and well attended Fundraising events, such as Quiz Nights, Car Rallies, Bar & Band Nights and even a Golf Day!

If you would like to find out more about all aspects of the Club, whether you are interesting in playing, coming along to support the team on match days, or attending one of our social activities, you can get more information by visiting our website. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
